MCA Recording artist Kip Moore received three American Country Award (ACA) nominations for the third annual award ceremony held in Las Vegas on December 10.

Moore received nominations in the ARTIST OF THE YEAR: NEW ARTIST category as well as SINGLE OF THE YEAR: NEW ARTIST and MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR: NEW ARTIST both for his Platinum-selling smash “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” which spent two week’s at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and the Mediabase/ Country Aircheck chart.  Moore is the first new solo artist in four years to have a debut album’s first single go No. 1 for multiple weeks.

“I’m in shock….it’s been a long long road for me and I’m very grateful for every single bit. Beyond humbled,” Moore says.

Starting today, fans can vote once a day at www.theacas.com until November 12, in all categories. However, there’s one big exception to that: the ARTIST OF THE YEAR category will remain open until December 7th – two days before the show airs live from The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, Dec., 10 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The Tifton, GA, native released his debut album Up All Night on April 24. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Country Album chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200.  Up All Night is the bestselling album for a debut artist in 2012.

Moore’s current single “Beer Money” is already in the top 15 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and Fans can catch Moore performing it now out on the Eric Church The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour.
