After selling out his 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR stop at Boston’s Fenway Park in just seven minutes this morning, CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean has announced that a second show has been added to the calendar on Fri., July 12, 2013.  The show will also feature GRAMMY award-winning female vocalist Miranda Lambert, and special guests Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.  Aldean is the first country artist to ever headline the iconic ballpark, and this morning’s sell-out was the quickest in venue history.

Presale tickets are available to Aldean’s fan club next Tues., Oct. 30, Red Sox season ticket holders on Wed., Oct. 31 and through WKLB on Thurs., Nov. 1.  Tickets go on sale to the general public on Fri., Nov. 2 at 10am ET and can be purchased at the Orpheum Theater box office, or by calling 1-800-514-3849.  Tickets will not be available at the Red Sox ticket office.

Aldean announced the date last Thursday when he jetted across the country and made surprise appearances at Fenway, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium to announce that his 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR would stop at each of the three stadiums.  Fresh off a record-breaking debut of his new album NIGHT TRAIN which sold 409,303 copies its first week, the next stops on the NIGHT TRAIN include Aldean’s annual “Concert For the Cure” to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure on Oct. 27 and the 2012 Country Music Association Awards on Nov. 1, where he is nominated for “Entertainer of the Year,” “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Single of the Year.”
