Jason Aldean made a statement today via his facebook fan page addressing the photographs of him in a compromising situation with former American Idol Contestant Brittany Kerr.  Earlier today, TMZ released several photos of Aldean at a Hollywood hot spot, The Den, from earlier this week, in a situation that left a lot of room for speculation. Aldean later left the restaurant that night with his friends, without Ms. Kerr.

While speculation ran rapid throughout the day on the web, Aldean made a statement to his fans addressing this matter. Jason Aldean wrote: Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites. The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support.

This is an unfortunate situation and hopefully things will work out for the best for Jason and his family.  Jason has been married to his wife, Jessica, since 2001 and they have 2 little girls together.

  1. I’m sure this was not the FIRST time this has happened. I’m sure musicians all over the country are sympathizing with JASON! Seems to be an accpeted and expected perk if you’re on the road.
