Broken Bow Records’ rising star Dustin Lynch will be CMT’s featured LISTEN UP artist for the month of September, it was announced today. Additionally, CMT is offering fans exclusive opportunities to personally interact and connect with Lynch surrounding his debut, self-titled album release on August 21st.

On August 20th – the evening before Lynch’s debut album is officially on store shelves – Lynch will perform an exclusive live concert for fans as part of CMT’s LISTEN UP campaign, which showcases the best and brightest of country music’s rising stars.

The concert event will take place in front of a live audience at Nashville’s 12th & Porter at 8 pm ET/ 7 pm CT.  The performances and an exclusive interview with CMT Radio’s Samantha Stephens will be streamed live on, marking a first for the LISTEN UP franchise.  The show is open to the public and fans will be allowed entrance on a first-come, first serve basis.

In September, fans can visit to watch the exclusive performances of songs Lynch’s self-titled, debut album.

In celebration of Lynch’s release date, CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan will host an ASK ANYTHING video chat with the star the very next evening, August 21st, at 8 pm ET/ 7 pm CT. Fans can visit now to submit their questions for the exclusive chat.  Fans can then watch Lynch answer their questions via the site’s ASK ANYTHING video chat on August 21st.

Since the release of his hit single, “Cowboys and Angels,” Lynch has sold over 400k downloads of his debut single and surpassed over 4 million views on YouTube/ VEVO. He’s soared to #1 on the MTV Music Meter, earned a #1 ringtone on CMT, a Top 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Songs Chart, and a Top 15 Country radio single.

Lynch been lauded as one of Billboard magazine’s “Most Anticipated Debuts of 2012,” People Country’s “Fresh Faces” and Country Weekly’s “Ones to Watch in 2012.”  Heavily influenced in his youth by the famed “Class of ‘89” – comprised of such stalwart country singers as Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and Clint Black – Lynch’s brand of Country is trademarked by his distinctively deep, emotional vocals, and lyrical embodiment of growing up in and people watching in his small hometown of Tullahoma, TN.

Signed to Broken Bow Records (home of superstar Jason Aldean), Lynch’s self-titled debut album will be released on August 21.  Produced by award-winning Brett Beavers (Dierks Bentley) and Luke Wooten, the album consists of 13 songs, 10 of which were written or co-written by Lynch.
