Britnee Kellogg is hard at work making her debut into the country music industry. The talented Pacific Northwest native has had a love & passion for music since a very young age and is set to introduce her talents to the industry. Kellogg’s determination is strong as well as admirable and her talents will without a doubt secure her place in country music.
Britnee Kellogg was three years old when she started singing, and she’s never stopped. Her impressive career began at local fairs and talent shows—anything that gave her the chance to perform. “If it had a stage and a microphone, I was in,” she laughed.
Her love of country music started when she first heard Reba McEntire sing “Does He Love You.” Smitten from the first note, Britnee knew that she had found her chosen career. Every day since then has brought her one step closer to her dream of singing for a living. She won a national “Sing like Taylor Swift” contest that allowed her to meet Taylor and spend some time getting to know and love her.
Today, you’ll find Britnee performing with Portland band 5 Guys Named Moe and opening for the likes of Jake Owen, Tim McGraw, Edens Edge and Kelli Pickler. You may also remember her from Season 11 of American Idol. She was cut in the Las Vegas Round after making it all the way to top 45!
Most recently, Britnee has been writing and performing her original music with her new country band. It’s a deeply personal project, one that allows her to truly showcase her rich, edgy vocal stylings. You can find them playing all over the Northwest and beyond.
When she’s not performing, Britnee spends time with the other love of her life: her boys Caiden, age 4, and Hudson, age 2. “They are my life, my joy,” she says. “And they love singing with their mama.” She really wants to show moms out there that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.
Kellogg currently has 3 original tracks, “From The Ashes”, “Harbor” and “Home”. Take a listen to each of these by clicking HERE.
