Kenny Chesney is about to have a powerful summer.  He is gearing up to release his new studio album Welcome To The Fishbowl, and embark on his highly anticipated Brothers of the Sun Tour with longtime friend Tim McGraw.  Chesney debuted his new single this past Sunday at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, “Feel Like A Rock Star”, and the duet with Tim McGraw has already made a huge impact on country radio.

The weeks are winding down and Chesney will be spending time back on the road and on stage.  He tells PARADE, “The time onstage, in front of the fans. Sometimes it’s like a revival, I swear.”  With all the time on the road for touring as well as promoting an upcoming album, Chesney has to find time to relax.  Chesney comments, “Being still has always been hard. It usually involves being on a boat, listening to Bob Marley, and watching the sun move across the sky.”  Chesney just celebrated his 44th birthday on March 26 and he says that being in his 40’s has changed his music style as an artist and songwriter, “I felt an artistic shift. People wonder if you’re going to start mailing it in, but I’m really pushing myself as a person and as a songwriter.”  Read the original article from PARADE by clicking HERE.
