ACM Concert – Salute to the Military Presented by NRA Country is a FREE, open-to-the-public celebration for military families and country music fans, and is part of THE ACM EXPERIENCE weekend of special events at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.  Military ID holders will be invited to a special reserved section for the concert, which will include special onstage moments such as the presentation of charitable donations to three worthy military-inspired charitable organizations: Folds of Honor Foundation, Nellis Air Force Base Youth Programs and Wounded Warrior Project.

Salute to the Military will feature performances by ACM Song of the Year nominee Lee Brice, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, JT Hodges, Kip Moore, Craig Morgan, ACM Vocal Duo of the Year nominee Thompson Square and more.  The evening will be hosted by Robin Meade singer and anchor of HLN’s “Morning Express with Robin Meade.”    

On Saturday, March 31st the concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm PST at the Country Thunder Stage at The ACM Experience in the South Convention Center Parking Lot (corner of Russell Road and Las Vegas Boulevard) located at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

THE ACM EXPERIENCE is the first-ever, free, open-to-the public country music lifestyle event created for fans during The Week Vegas Goes Country®, the week prior to the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.  The fan-focused three-day event including the ACM BBQ Throwdown, ACM EXPO, the Ram Ride and Drive and more, will be held March 30-April 1, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.  The events will culminate in the already-announced ACM Fan Jam, a ticketed event hosted by Zac Brown Band, on Sunday, April 1, 2012.  The ACM Fan Jam is part of the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards broadcast LIVE from Las Vegas Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
