After a busy week that took country music entertainer and award-winning TV host Craig Morgan across five states over six days, the singer’s latest studio record, This Ole Boy, moved more than 12,000 units in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Top 5 debut on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart represents Morgan’s highest chart debut in his career and best opening week numbers since 2006’s Little Bit Of Life.
Next up for Morgan is a March 8 appearance on syndicated program Better TV. Visit www.Better.TV for broadcast information in your local market. Following that, Craig will make his acting debut on Lifetime’s hit drama Army Wives, airing March 18 at 9pm ET/PT.
This Ole Boy, Craig Morgan’s first new music in three years and debut release on Black River Entertainment, has been met with rave reviews from the country’s toughest critics. Co-produced with his longtime creative partner Phil O’Donnell, Morgan co-wrote 7 of the 12 songs on the new record. The feel good, sing-along title track love song is climbing the country radio charts and the music video, featuring Hollywood actress Angie Harmon, can be viewed on numerous web and TV outlets.
