Among Carrie Underwood‘s many accomplishments, she’s a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry — and as she prepares for a return visit on Tuesday, March 27th, Carrie says that playing the Opry feels as comfortable and natural to her as singing in her own living room.

“The Opry’s a really great place to play because it feels like home. It’s one of the first places I came to after American Idol. I was so nervous, but they opened their arms to me, and it was really great to just feel so at home there, and I still do. And soon after, you know, I was a member, and now I feel like an old veteran, but it still feels like I’m playin’ in my living room. It’s a lot of fun.”

Carrie is all over the airwaves with her incredible single, “Good Girl,” the first huge hit from her upcoming album, Blown Away, releasing May 1st!
