Black River Entertainment recording artist Sarah Darling has been chosen by the City of Nashville to sing “God Bless America” at the opening of the 2011 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. The college football game, featuring North Carolina’s Wake Forest vs. Mississippi State University, is expected to bring in over 70,000 fans to Nashville’s LP Field on Friday, December 30th. On Saturday December 31st, Darling will headline the 4th annual New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop at Pier Parkin Panama City Beach, FL. Taking the stage at 10:45pm, Darling is the final performer before the 800 pound glowing beach ball begins the descent and final countdown to 2012. The event is free and open to the public.
