RCA Records, a division of Sony Music, announced today that they are shutting down the Arista Record Label as well as Jive and J Records.  It is reported that the artists under these labels will be moved to roster of RCA Records.  This news, however, does NOT impact the Nashville Network of the label.  Sony Music Nashville Chairman/CEO Gary Overton affirms, “Arista Nashville and its respective roster are not impacted in any way. Our four-label Sony Music Nashville operations remain unchanged.”

The Arista Nashville roster includes country artists Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Ronnie Dunn, Jerrod Niemman, Brent Anderson & more.

  1. Agreed! Brent Anderson is an awesome musician. I just downloaded “Amy’s Song” on itunes. It’s definitely a must have for country fans
