Eric Church fans get the credit for inspiring his current single “Drink In My Hand.”
“We were on tour with Miranda Lambert at the time, and we had just walked offstage and saw our fans put their beers in the air,” Church recalls. “You could just tell that they had worked all week, and this was their moment to let all that wash away. That just became a really good song born from our fans.”
Cup-toting concertgoers also star in the song’s music video, which was filmed during back-to-back sold-out Church concerts. His reps says that the shoot was totally spur-of-the-moment as the crowds were so great they decided to film on-the-spot.
