Dallas Davidson has done it again. After celebrating a No. 1 in August with Justin Moore’s “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” he’s at the top of the country Billboard charts once more this week with “Just A Kiss,” co-written and performed by Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum. The smash single marks Davidson’s eighth No. 1 Billboardhit.

The 2010 Billboard Hot Country Songwriter Of The Year admits to writing many of his songs about his own personal experiences– and “Just A Kiss” was one of those.

“We wrote this song about when you find that special someone and you just know it, a kiss goodnight is all you need,” he said.“Like when I met my wife, Sarah, I knew she was the one from the start. I didn’t want to ‘push too far’ and mess it up, like this song talks about.”

Currently, Davidson is celebrating seven songs on the country Billboard chart including Luke Bryan’s “Country Girl Shake It For Me” which stands at No. 4 and rising.

Other hits include “All Over Me” (Josh Turner), “All About Tonight” (Blake Shelton), “Gimmie That Girl” (Joe Nichols), “Rain Is A Good Thing” (Luke Bryan), “That’s How Country Boys Roll” (Billy Currington), “Barefoot and Crazy” (Jack Ingram), “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” (Trace Adkins), “Stay Here Forever” (Jewel), “Put A Girl In It” (Brooks and Dunn), “Start A Band” (Keith Urban and Brad Paisley) and many more.
