New Date For ABC TV Special “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock” Now On 8/14

The three-hour CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock TV special, originally scheduled to air on ABC-TV August 7, has been moved back a week to Aug. 14 at 8pm ET. The original date had coincided with the Teen Choice Awards, which will feature several country acts.
The 3-hour special will include Alabama performing with Brad Paisley; Jason Aldean collaborating with Kelly Clarkson; a late-night jam with Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow; Josh Turner singing with “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery; “Idol” runner up Lauren Alaina joining Martina McBride; Gretchen Wilson partying with Big & Rich; and Alan Jackson performing with Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, Sara Evans,
Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker,
Blake Shelton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift
, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town.
