As CMA Entertainer of the Year Brad Paisley releases his ninth studio album, This Is Country Music, today he learns that the album’s second single, “Old Alabama,” hits #1 on Billboard’s country airplay chart. Co-written by Paisley, Chris DuBois, Dave Turnbull, and Randy Owen, “Old Alabama” features supergroup Alabama.
Before heading to New York this week to support his new album’s release, Paisley made a pit stop in Charlotte, North Carolina, over the weekend to world premiere the video for “Old Alabama” at the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. The video world premiered on multiple platforms, including SPEED, NASCAR.com and on the world’s largest HD video board at the Charlotte Motor Speedway before the start of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.
