Kenny Chesney To Premiere ESPN Documentary At Private Orange Carpet Event In Knoxville

Kenny Chesney produced an ESPN Documentary “The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story For The Year Of The Quaterback” as previously reported earlier this month HERE.  On Wednesday, February 16th, Kenny Chesney and former University of Tennessee Quarterback, Condredge Holloway will appear together at the Tennessee Theater in Knoxville, TN for a private event premiering the documentary film.
Chesney, who wore Holloway’s jersey number when he played high school football, idolized the University of Tennessee quarterback and was thrilled to produce the documentary. “Condredge has meant so much to so many and is a very important figure in my life and to the history of College Football,” says Chesney. “ I’m excited, with the help of Shaun Silva, to tell his story, to show his journey, and to help show the world just how influential he was to how the game is played today and how many doors he opened for so many athletes that have followed in his footsteps,” Chesney continued. Holloway was the first African-American to start at Quarterback in the Southeastern Conference.
The evening’s event will start with an orange carpet reception held in the lobby of the Tennessee Theater and then a discussion will be held following the film which will include both Chesney & Holloway.

“The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story For The Year Of The Quaterback” will air on ESPN Sunday, February 20th at 8:00 pm EST.
