Rascal Flatts arrive in stores with their album Nothing Like This, on Tuesday, November 16th, their seventh studio album and their first for Big Machine Records. The collection features the band’s latest hit “Why Wait,” plus a collaboration with pop singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield on the song “Easy.”
The album, produced by Dann Huff, was recorded both in Nashville and Santa Barbara, California, and the guys feel that it marries both their past and their future. “We really cut some great things and tried some different stuff and kind of put our last 10 years career into one project – the things that brought us to the table, the things that built us a fan base in the beginning anyway to new stuff that we haven’t tried before,” states Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox. “I think we found some great songs early on, and that’s always a good thing to know — that we felt we had some hits under our belt already.”
The guys will be hitting the small screen this week to help spread the word about their new album, Nothing Like This, in stores Tuesday, November 16. On Monday, November 15, the band will be featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Late Show With David Letterman and CMT’s Invitation Only. They’ll also perform on Live on Letterman, a music program available online and on-demand.
On the day of release, the band’s schedule includes stops at NBC’s Today and the Sean Hannity Show, and they’ll hang out at Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, November 17.
