Kenny Chesney Makes Surprise Appearance At The Ryman This Weekend & Joins Grace Potter On Stage

It was no trick on Saturday night but certainly a treat as Kenny Chesney made a surprise appearance at The Ryman during Grace Potter & The Nocturnals’ performance as they were opening for Avett Brothers.  Grace Potter serves up vocals on Chesney’s track “You And Tequila” which is on his new album Hemingway’s Whiskey.  CMT reports that Grace Potter made the introduction prior to Kenny’s appearance on stage; “This one doesn’t belong to us. It belongs to a good friend of ours. We’re also gonna borrow a good friend tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Kenny Chesney.”
CMT also reported that Chesney received a warm welcome when he walked onstage wearing khaki pants, blue long-sleeve T-shirt and knit cap. Later that evening, Grace sent out a tweet: @kennychesney thanks for joining us tonight at the Ryman! It was a very special night for everyone!
