2010 CMA Entertainer and Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Keith Urban held a listening event for the release of his seventh Capitol Records Nashville album, GET CLOSER, earlier today at the Hard Rock Café.
Guests not only got to hear a sneak peek of the new album, which will be released November 16, but they were also treated with a surprise live performance by Urban who performed his current single “Put You In A Song,” the Get Closer album track “Without You,” and “Walkin’ The Country” from Urban’s days as part of the group The Ranch.
Capitol Records Nashville President & CEO Mike Dungan surprised Urban with a Platinum  plaque signifying sales of over 1 million copies of his last album Defying Gravity. All of Keith Urban’s solo albums have been certified Platinum.

  1. Keith urban is the BEST there is, there is no doubt about that at all! I cannot wait for his new CD 'Get Closer' on Nov. 16th. That is going to be a GREAT day for me!! Love the single 'Put You In A Song' it is a GREAT song!!
