Eddie Montgomery Diagnosed With Prostate Cancer

Eddie Montgomery, 1/2 of the duo Montgomery Gentry, confirmed that he has prostate cancer and will undergo surgery next month to have the tumor removed.

“Yes, rumors have started. And the truth is I have recently been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. I will be undergoing surgery to remove the cancerous tumor in December. I will be back in January ready to rock for all the fans! Please keep my family and I in your prayers.” – Eddie Montgomery 
The duo’s will continue their remaining tour stops, including the Concert For The Kids in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium on Monday, November 22nd with their final stop in Charlotte, NC on December 4th.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Eddie Montgomery & his family and we wish him a speedy recovery.

  2. Hold tight to your God. The fans I know are praying! My grandfather had this and lived to be an old man. He did not die from this cancer. He walked to his job even in his 70's. That's what our faith can do so we will be praying for COMPLETE HEALING in JESUS NAME!!!
