Blake Shelton Celebrates His BEST Year Ever

Blake Shelton has been on fire this year with the New York Times naming him as one of the “most versatile of contemporary country singers.” This year alone, Shelton has been crowned CMA’’s “Male Vocalist of the Year” as well as receiving his first ACM, CMA and CMT Awards for his No. 1 smash hit “Hillbilly Bone” with longtime friend Trace Adkins and in a career highlight, was recently inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. With his latest release LOADED: The Best of Blake Shelton debuting in the Top 10 on the Country Charts this week, Shelton joins the elite group of artists who have charted three records in one year; among those are Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson.

“I thanked these folks last week at the CMA Awards but I want to thank them again. Brandon, Narvel and Reba, thank you for believing in me. I love you guys,” Shelton said. “Warner Music Nashville, thank you for continually pushing me to be the best artist I can be and never giving up. Country radio, thank you for backing me year after year. Even without all these accolades, you had my back. Thank you!”

Shelton adds, “This has been the best year of my life. I would have been excited just to have one of these things happen to me but to have them all happen in the same year — words cannot describe how I feel. It is truly a humbling experience. I am going to have to write Santa a letter and make sure he knows he doesn’t need to send me anything this year – my blessings are plenty.”

Shelton has released three albums this year with Hillbilly Bone, All About Tonight and his first ever greatest hits album, LOADED: The Best of Blake Shelton available everywhere now.
LOADED: The Best of Blake Shelton includes a limited edition of the album with an exclusive LOADED t-shirt available at Wal-Mart.
Other highlights from Shelton this year include co-hosting the Today Show with Hoda Kotb, visiting the set of E!’s Chelsea Lately twice and performing on Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Shelton also premiered his first television concert special on GAC titled, “Blake Shelton Live: It’s All About Tonight” and kicked-off his first ever headlining tour hitting major cities such as Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Francisco.
Recently, released over 35 never-before seen videos to BS fans.
Shelton is currently nominated for two ACA Awards for “Music Video of the Year” and “Music Video: Male” for his hit single, “Hillbilly Bone.” The first annual ACA Awards will air live from The MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Monday, Dec. 6 at 8:00 PM (ET).
