Mercury Nashville will debut a Deluxe Edition of the previously announced and highly anticipated album The Incredible Machine by multi-Grammy award-winning duo Sugarland, which is set for release Oct. 19.
In addition to the 11 songs, all co-written and co-produced by Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, the Deluxe Edition offers a documentary titled Blood Love Hope Lust and Steam that chronicles the creation of the album and tour of the same name. The package also includes the music video for the lead-off hit single “Stuck Like Glue,” as well as a never-before-seen live performance music video for the title track.
The project has received tremendous attention even before its release. The Top 5 hit “Stuck Like Glue” has been certified Gold for digital downloads and the duo garnered the coveted cover of Billboard. This landmark album is a creative rebirth for Sugarland, who has sold 8 million records.
“We are in a place of discovery,” Jennifer says. “It is the essence of who we are as people in this band.” Adds Kristian, “It’s just the two of us. In the story of who we are, this album is more us than we’ve ever been.”
The pair has teamed up with iTunes to offer an album countdown promotion to fans, which makes a new track from their upcoming fourth record available every Tuesday from now until October 19. Available now for download are the title track and “Wide Open.” “Little Miss” will be posted October 12. With the purchase of each countdown track, a credit in the amount spent will be applied to the overall price of the album on street date. Click HERE for specifics.
