John Rich is bringing country to the big city as he appears on NBC’s “Today Show” this Wednesday, August 25th. Rich will appear as co-host with TV personality, Hoda Kotb on Wednesday while co-host Kathie Lee Gifford is out for the week. Also on August 25th, Rich will make a guest appearance on FOX News’ “America Live” with Megyn Kelly and Sean Hannity’s “Great American Panel.” The “Great American Panel” is a daily show that consists of three in-studio guests discussing major topics of the day.
Rich’s current single, “Country Done Come to Town” is off his forthcoming Rich Rocks SIX PAK. His last album, Son Of A Preacher Man, featured the hit single, “Shuttin’ Detroit Down,” which was Rich’s first solo hit to land in the Top 15 on the Country Singles Chart and the fastest-rising single of his career. Rich is the only country music artist who has garnered a Top 15 single as a part of a group, duo and solo artist. Formerly known as one-half of the multi-platinum Warner Bros. Records duo, Big & Rich, Rich has been honing his writing skills for years. He is a three-time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year recipient with 13 top ten hits, including Faith Hill’s “Mississippi Girl,” Faith and Tim McGraw’s “Like We Never Loved At All,” Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman” and Jason Aldean’s “Hicktown.” As a part of Big & Rich and as a songwriter, he has garnered multiple GRAMMY, ACM, CMA and CMT Music Award nominations.
