The Zac Brown Band have become a fan favorite ever since the first single “Chicken Fried”. The band has picked up a Grammy for Best New Artist as well as putting a double-platinum album for The Foundation under their belt. We are fairly certain that their next album will not go unnoticed and even better, there is a possibility that it may be available before the end of this year.
“I would say 85 percent of the album is already cut,” band member Coy Bowles told Billboard. “Zac’s done his vocals. I think he’s got to go back and do some guitar and things of that nature. I don’t want to put any dates out there, but I think it’s set to come out in the fall.”
The Zac Brown Band had about 50 songs to pick from as they recorded the project, which will continue to reflect the group’s multi-genre approach to music.
“We still lean toward a Southern rock/country kind of thing, but there’s definitely radio-friendly stuff and still kind of an island, beachy vibe, and then we go off the beaten path and get into a kind of jam-band world,” Coy noted. “So I think it’s going to be really representative of where we are right now.”
At this time, the album title is tentatively called Get What You Give. “Colder Weather” is expected to be included on the new album. A live version featuring Little Big Town was recorded and included on the previously released Pass The Jar: Live From The Fabulous Fox Theatre In Atlanta.
