“The Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience,” the CMA Music Festival, will be more interactive than ever thanks to new online features. The 2010 CMA Music Festival takes place Thursday – Sunday, June 10th – 13th in downtown Nashville.
Fans can have complete control over their experience at this year’s event with the newly added “Customize Your Schedule” feature on CMAfest.com. Built by Austin, Texas-based Seed Labs, users can access the entire line-up of artists performing at the Festival, arranged alphabetically by day or by venue. Each user may create their own customized schedule of activities by simply clicking on the name of an artist. When finished assembling their personalized schedule, fans can print their schedule to carry with them for easy on-site CMA Fest planning and navigation.
Fans can create an account to save their custom schedule, or they can login with Facebook Connect. With the Facebook Connect integration, fans are able to share their own personal schedule with Facebook friends, easily post their schedule and comments to their Facebook newsfeed, and see how many of their friends have added artist to their own custom schedules simply by scrolling over the name of an artist.

“We are excited to harness technology to help Country fans get the most out of their experience at this year’s Festival,” said Steve Moore, Chairman of the CMA Board of Directors. “With an overload of entertainment options taking place, the Custom Schedule allows fans to plan ahead, so they can conquer the Festival on their own terms.”
This year, CMA will be donating all net proceeds from this year’s CMA Music Festival to benefit music education in Metro Nashville Public Schools and flood relief for victims of the recent devastation in Middle Tennessee.
