Academy of Country Music Award nominee, Blake Shelton’s SIX PAK album Hillbilly Bone became a champagne hit last week, selling over 71,000 units and making it Warner Bros/Reprise Records artist Shelton’s highest album debut on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart to date, coming in at No. 3. Now the title track from the album, featuring longtime friend, Trace Adkins, is making an impact at radio. “Hillbilly Bone” is currently No. 1 on the Billboard and Country Aircheck (Mediabase) charts, making it Shelton’s sixth No. 1.

“I’m honored how country radio has embraced me over the last 10 years,” said Shelton. “You dream of having a No. 1 song all your life and now country radio has blessed me with six. I want to personally thank every program director, music director and on-air personality who has played this single. Thank you all for your support over the years! I also want to thank John Esposito, Bob Reeves and the Warner Music Nashville promotion team. I am forever grateful for the support you guys have given me. I couldn’t ask for a better family. Last, but definitely not least, I want to thank Trace Adkins for singing on this song. He definitely helped bring it home to # 1.”

In support of the new album and No. 1 single, Shelton will be appearing on E! Entertainment’s “Chelsea Lately” on March 18.

In addition to the comedic, sing-along duet with Trace Adkins, the new album includes six new tracks from Shelton. Hillbilly Bone is produced by Scott Hendricks. The album debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, making it last week’s highest charting debut album and his highest debut of his career on the all-genre chart. The new album also came in at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums Chart. His last single, “I’ll Just Hold On,” broke into the Top 10 on the country singles charts and was the follow-up to his back-to-back multi-week No. 1 singles “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” and “Home.” Shelton’s hits also include his six-week No. 1 debut single, “Austin,” and two additional multi-week No. 1singles “The Baby” and “Some Beach.”
