Triple Tigers Records artist, Shane Profitt, shares his latest release “Penny To My Name.” Written by Profitt, McCoy Moore and Phil O’Donnnel, the song delivers a relatable narrative about some of the true “riches” in life which come in the forms of family, friends, fond memories and good times.
“Growing up in Columbia, Tennessee we didn’t have much, but that didn’t mean we weren’t rich in our own ways.” Shane shared. “Family, friends and the memories we made were more than enough to fill our own banks. That’s what this song is about, feeling like you have the world in your hands even when you don’t have a penny to your name.”
Profitt showcased his new song on-stage at the Ryman Auditorium which was met with a standing ovation from the crowd.
