The CMA Awards will celebrate its 50th year this coming November. To mark this special occasion, a one of a kind project was released today celebrating five decades of the prestigious awards. Taking on John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again,” and Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” 30 former CMA Award Winners deliver an epic “Forever Country” compilation song.

“The artists who stepped up to participate in this one-of-a-kind project span all five decades of the CMA Awards,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “They represent the heart of this song, the strength of our relationship with the fans, and the future of Country Music.”

A sneak peak of the “Forever Country” music video will premiere on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday, September 20, with the full length music video subsequently following the show at ForeverCountry50.com. The video, which will serve as the biggest music video in country music history, will include the thirty artists featured on the song:  Alabama, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Eric ChurchBrett Eldredge, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Ronnie Milsap, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Charley Pride, Rascal FlattsReba, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Randy Travis, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Trisha Yearwood.

Country Radio has fully supported this new release as stations all across the nation featured “Forever Country” on their radio airwaves at 8:30 am this morning. The single is now available for download and streaming, and has jumped its way to the top of the iTunes chart. Additionally #ForeverCountry is a trending topic on Twitter.
