Late last month the state of West Virginia suffered from tragic flooding that destroyed small towns and killed over 20 people. Rising country star Chris Janson performed this past weekend in Point Pleasant, WV at the 2016 Peck Fest, and donated sales from his merchandise to those that have been affected by the flooding.

“It’s the right thing to do,” says Chris Janson to the crowd. “I’ve played many nights here in WEST VIRGINIA, and the people have always treated me and my family so nice. It’s like a second home to me.”

Soon after the tragic flood, Brad Paisley set up a West Virginia Floods GoFundMe Account for his home state to help the state recover and rebuild. Donations are still being accepted here.

Janson’s latest hit single, “Holdin’ Her,” continues to climb the country radio charts and can be found on his debut album here.
