Blackjack Billy Why God Made Summertime - CountryMusicRocks.net

Blackjack Billy, the rebel-rousing group composed of Rob Blackledge, Noll Billings, Jeff Coplan and Brad Cummings, enjoyed a morning of margaritas and music with “The Highway” crew and other guests at SiriusXM’s Nashville studio where host Storme Warren debuted their new single “Why God Made Summertime.”

The song is written by Jeff Coplan, Noll Billings and Gordon Brown and is now available at iTunes HERE.

The single is the first from their upcoming release on Reviver Records. The ‘must see’ live band is set to perform in Nashville tomorrow night at “Loser’s Anniversary Bash” on Division Street in Nashville.

“We unofficially, OFFICIALLY kicked off summer today at SiriusXM. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate our friends at The Highway having us in the studio,” said Noll. “It all started here and I can’t think of a better way to spend Cinco de Mayo and share our music.”

The group has sold over 300,000 downloads and garnered momentum at radio with the 2014 hit “Booze Cruise.” The accompanying video for the single immediately went viral and generated a quick fan base and an impressive number of tour dates. Since then, the group has been writing, recording, and rocking audiences all over the United States and Canada.

“We are completely self contained and working our butts off and our having the time of our lives,” says Jeff (guitarist, producer, writer), “We can’t wait to see all of our friends out there.”
